Graeme Armstrong, a Scottish author, explores gang culture and drug addiction in his work.
His bestselling debut novel, The Young Team, won the Betty Trask, Somerset Maugham, and Scots Book of the Year Awards. Armstrong teamed up with the BBC to create the documentary, Scotland: The Rave, which explores rave culture, and was later nominated for a BAFTA Scotland and RTS Scotland Award in 2022.
